Application Method

The surface must be cleaned thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, grease and loosely adhered materials. Emery paper, a putty blade or wire brush can be used for cleaning. Major wall undulations should be checked and rectified, and the substrate should be properly dampened with clean water before application. D+ Level Fix

Level Fix should be mixed to form a smooth, uniform paste, with water added gradually. Manual mixing or a drill-mounted mechanical stirrer may be used. Only the quantity that can be used within 1–2 hours should be prepared. D+ Level Fix

Application is carried out on a pre-moistened surface using a plastering trowel in 4–6 mm thick layers, working from bottom to top. The surface can be levelled with aluminium floats, and additional coats can be applied after 2–3 hours where required.
