D+ PRO COAT PU 2 PART – Anticarbonation

D+ PRO COAT PU 2 PART is a urethane isocyanate-based coating that yields hard yet flexible films. The product is recommended for use in both new construction and maintenance services.

The coating is available in assorted shades and can be supplied with a smooth, STC or matt finish, with full gloss available according to requirements. It can be applied by conventional spray, airless spray, brush or roller.

Suitable Surface Preparation

The surface must be clean and free from oil, grease and dirt. For better performance, blasting to Sa 2½ is recommended. D+ PRO COAT is recommended as part of the coating system. For MS surfaces, D+ CRACK & FIX (DFR 105, DFH 205) has to be applied. For aluminium or GI surfaces, D+ CRACK & FIX (DFR 105, DFH 205) has to be applied as the first coat. Undercoats/intermediate coats may be applied to achieve the overall required DFT of the coating system.

Consumption / Coverage

The theoretical spreading rate is:

10.0 m² per litre at 40 micron DFT.

Thinner Requirements

For air spray:

• Thinner addition: 5–20% by volume
• Nozzle orifice: 1.2–2.0 mm
• Nozzle pressure: 40–50 psi

For airless spray:

• Thinner addition: 0–10% by volume
• Nozzle orifice: 0.28–0.33 mm
• Nozzle pressure: 1400–1800 psi
